Palmeira and Adelaide Garden Fund is a Community Interest Company created in 2019. It was then established in 2020 as Palmeira and Adelaide Garden Group CIC by two garden-loving residents. In just four years this group of dedicated residents, who live in and around Palmeira Square and Adelaide Crescent, have had a significant impact on the wellbeing of the community.
We aim to raise funds to help maintain our green spaces, bringing the community together through regular clean-ups, gardening activities and social events.
To strengthen our community through the gardens, with each volunteer and every event. One blue bag at a time.
To liaise with local authorities and recruit new members and to grow the company responsibly and sustainabily.
To improve community wellbeing for the mental health of the surrounding neighbourhood.
