Easter fair in the square

Palmeira and Adelaide Garden Group unite our community to share friendship, food and fun, plus arts and crafts stalls at this friendly neighbourhood event. Created to raise funds for the maintenance of our historic gardens, our fair in the square events are held four times a year, organised by dedicated residents to benefit of the community.
Children will love the Easter Egg Hunt, searching for eggs amid the ornamental shrubbery and rose beds. While the fair is free to walk around, to enter the Easter Egg Hunt you’ll need to purchase a ticket for our prize-winning tombola, giving you the chance to win some fabulous prizes donated by our kind sponsors and local businesses.
Entry to the egg hunt is by 1 tombola ticket- Only £1! Only 1 chocolate egg per child. Vegan and allergy free eggs will be available. Chocolate eggs will be given in exchange for 1 plastic egg, (hidden in the gardens), and the purchase of tombola ticket.

The event usually hosts around 30 stalls, including food and drink sellers, a children’s play area, plus an accessible toilet located by the recycling point in Adelaide Crescent. The stalls provide local businesses visibility in the community, a chance to step out of the shops and meet passers-by from the neighbourhood.
You can apply here to hire a pitch for a stall at the fair in the square held on Sunday 31 March. We will try our best to accommodate you, but hurry and book now, as our pitches often sell out well before the deadline: Friday 22 March 2024.
